ok, so I got bored in lit class when we were talking about fairies (god I hate shakespeare) and here is the result: uber super ultra girly-anime fairies; and thus I live up to my name! And look! A sad attempt at a light source! Well, it looked pretty good when it was just skin :) Aw well, just for shits and kicks, enjoy :) Comments and constructive crit on coloring (and suggestions for different methods) are greatly appreciated.


EDIT: ok I took 's suggestion about the legs and fixed it; heh, they were kinda wonky lookin'. I'm not going to mess with her skin, because I have already merged my layers and that would kill me (it just be easier to start over at that point), I'll just play with it next time. Also, as with all deviations with these brushes, if you know where the swirls came from, please let me know so I can give credit. this is aj, signing off *salutes*

wow that is very good. The only thing I see wrong is the inner part of her leg. The white doesnt need to be there, unless she has one heck of a skinny leg. But everything else is great. <3 the background. ^__^

I like this one a lot. Can't much specak to the anime-style thing, but I like the colouring and the expressiveness of her face. As to suggestions for colouring, I'd be curious to see how you'd do with smoother colouring--the almost-dappled effect is nice, but an experiment with a different method of colour might yield interesting results.

But it's very well done as is. I like it very much! *faves* :D

I'm not digging too much on the skin tone, but the pose and anatomy are solid for the style. The background is as hatefully brilliant as always.

ohhh very nice ^^ The wings I love :D, The only crit I could give is on the hands, perhaps lower the light effects on them, so they dont look so round, though then again, because of the lovely style you use, that may not work very well Oo *is not very good at anime herself so dosent know much XD*

lol - it is quite anime-ish, Yo, chica, I LOVE Shakespeare!!! XD lolol. Your work always reminds me of traditional media; I love it. I think you did this very well - cute background too! I can't really say much because it seems evident that you know exactly what you're doing (and doing it well), and I have art homework that I'm supposed to be doing, and I should get back to my research - if I get caught on DA, I'm busted! lolol ^__^;;
